Hahn & Bowersock’s
iBinder™ Respository is an online deposition, synchronized
video and legal document repository for law firms, their service providers
and entire legal teams. We place transcripts, exhibits and video on our private,
password-protected site that gives you and the users you authorize access
on demand.
Using the iBinder™ Repository is simple—all you need is a computer equipped with Internet Explorer®. Inside, you’ll find a web-based war room equipped with tools to view transcripts, synchronized digital media and documents; make notes within transcripts; and communicate via message board, realtime chat or calendar. And you don’t need any special software to use the iBinder™ Repository—just log in and begin.
Here’s a look at iBinder™ Repository’s key features:
- Hyperlinks to exhibits. iBinder™ supports exhibit links in transcripts. You can click on hyperlinked text in a transcript to open the corresponding exhibit document in the Image Viewer.
- OCR documents with auto-generated word index. You can view OCR-scanned exhibit documents in the Image Viewer with a comprehensive index of the words used in the document. Just click on a term in the index to jump directly to its location in the document.
- Broad file sharing. iBinder™ features a “Files” section that lets users post any type of file, including documents that are not already posted in the Exhibits section, audio/video files that are unrelated to the transcripts and URLs for applicable case law or other web resources. The system supports a broad range of file formats, including .pdf, .doc, .xsl, .ppt, .tif, .jpg, .mpg, .wav, .wmv, .asf, .asv and .html.
- Easy user management. The iBinder™ Repository site administrator can add or remove users to one or all of the firm’s cases with a single click.
